‘We have been so fortunate to have John Darvell as our resident dance artist at Theale Green this year. Students from yrs 7 – 13 have been challenged, inspired and motivated. He has created an outstanding physically demanding duet for AS students, given valuable feedback to A level candidates as they prepare for their practical exam and created pieces on all our dance companies.

He has high standards and expectations and all students have made really quick progress both technically, expressively and choreographically. His main dance piece created for the artists in resident festival '…a soul to keep' was phenomenal.'

Beth Butler, Head of Dance, Theale Green Community School
